Option for Multi-Selection Atrributes to display Union rather than Intersection

Currently, when a user selects multiple attributes on the songlist, it filters by songs that match ALL of the attributes. So, if I have a songlist that has attributes that separate by decade, selecting both "80s" and "90s" will result in no songs. I would like the option this behavior to reflect "80s" AND "90s", or in computer programming speak - "80s" OR "90s" to reflect user intention of wanting to see songs from multiple categories at once.
