She posts pictures of crystal clear waters 

Already got a man, but I’m sure she’s got offers. 

She carries her Louis through the streets of París. 

I scroll through Insta in front of my tv.

Feels like magic, a filter makes a life romantic 

Yet so tragic, makes mine seem so disenchanted 

She’s writing her stories by chasing her dreams

But I’ve got a feeling she embellishes scenes 

I’ll start romanticizing 

My decisions build my living 

Stop being so afraid of her 

I’ll be my own main character

I wanted all she’s got 

But I’m someone that she’s not 

Stop wishing that I was her

I’ve been living a fake life in the distance 

But it’s time I take control of my existence

Pull the merlot from the shelf 

Decide I’ll cut my bangs myself

Live as though I’m the aesthetic 

Watch my energy become magnetic 

I’ll start romanticizing 

Everyday that I’ll be living 

Find a life that’s better
