I’m heading home and I want some food

7/11, comes in to view

I want a sandwich and some yoghurt too

And so I step inside

Strawberry yoghurt, blueberry gum,

Easily sidetracked cause food is so fun

I wasn’t expecting to see anyone

But I saw you standing in line

You were clean shaven, I was a mess

You asked me a question, “Do I like egg?”

I raise my egg sandwich and say “Why I do..”

And awkwardly stare at you..

Love at first sight when I saw you at the counter

Ordering coffee to go

Would it be crazy to Ask you for your number

I’m always a little too slow

And I watch you go go go
