I often turn my face to the sky
I talk to whatever thinking it might like me if I say – HI…. .
I used to ask myself the question who is it that I'm talking to
Why do I need to believe
There's something more than just here and now
I guess somehow

It makes me feel better

Is there a purpose a reason why
Would it matter if I lived or died
Is someone watching every step I take

Cause I can't help it but I really think that I am
So very special, the world won't spin without me
I might seem crazy to think I'm "all that"
But I think we all do

And if there's a God above
I hope it's me he loves
