Yellow and squishy, I wanna squeeze your beak

Let me hear the high pitched poems you squeak

Every time I bathe, you watch me from the foam

Ever since the day my Mom brought you home

We are floating in the tub, on waves so high

We play catch and release as we surf the tides

You're yellow, you're squeaky, you are soft and you're cute

But when you're full of water, you are messy and mute

I have to take a bath but I don't wanna get in

I guess that's just what taking a bath is about

Rubber ducky doesn't care when I sing out of tune

He just splashes along like a drum tycoon

Ever so supportive of my one-man band

Never telling me to stop, he's my bathroom friend

Rubber ducky doesn't mind, he has a natural sheen
