The Choir

I was running from,

a distant memory of,

what I thought I should be.

Don’t know where I belong,

but it can’t be here, no,

I won’t live in fear.

But then, I see beside me,

anyone who's ever felt alone.

And we will build, brick by brick,

a house out of not feeling at home.

Cos it's us, we are the choir,

and every voice we add can only take us higher.

When we unite, we’re twice as strong,

and you can hear it in the victory of our song!

As we begin, to spread our wings,

and see that every angel,

and every human, and every living thing,

is interconnected, we’re not really separate,

and together we will sing.

You may still get lost.

Out there on the road, there’s a million ways to go,

but your soul it won’t cost.

If you don’t sell out to fear,

and know that we are here.

Cos then, you'll look beside you,

and see everyone who ever felt alone.

And we will build, brick by brick,

a house out of not feeling at home.

Because it's us, we are the choir,

and every voice we add can only take us higher.

When we unite, we’re twice as strong,

and you can hear it in the victory of our song!

As we begin, to spread our wings,

and see that every angel,

and every human, and every living thing,

is interconnected, we’re not really separate,

and together we will sing.

Cos it's us, we are the choir,

and every voice we add can only take us higher.

When we unite, we’re twice as strong,

and you can hear it in the victory of our song!

As we begin, to spread our wings,

and see that every angel,

and every human, and every living thing,

is interconnected, we’re not really separate,

and together we will sing.
